“ A nice and deli with a lot of different types of sandwiches. I got the freak because it was something that you wouldn't find at any other deli but they have plenty of regular deli sandwiches as well. The freak came with hot pastrami, garlic aioli, kimchi, horseradish and arugula. It was quite simply delicious. Plenty of drink and snack options here as well to go along with your sandwich or just if you just want those. The workers were also very friendly and the market definitely had a nice local neighborhood feel to it. ”
“ * date visited: 08.24.2024 * ordered: valencia on dutch crunch * the sandwich is so fresh and HUGE. i absolutely love the different textures (crunch from the pickles, tomatoes, onions) softness from the avocado and turkey with the crisp bacon. the bread is also so so good i love dutch crunch * flavor wise, pretty sour and mustard-forward (so don't get this if you're not into it. i didn't think i would be, but it was very good) ”
“ I was looking for a sandwich shop close to Dolores Park and came across this one which really stood out because of their cool vegetarian/vegan sandwich options! They weren't the basic ones with just a couple veggies and condiments but had vegan meat substitutes and interesting combinations. I ordered ahead by calling so that by the time I got there, our Sandwiches were finished. Would recommend this if you're going during a busy time as people ordering there itself had to wait 30 minutes for theirs to come out. I usually am not a BBQ fan, but had to give the vegetarian BBQ chicken sandwich a try because of all the raving reviews. I got it spicy and throughly enjoyed it! It tasted unlike any sandwich I've ever had and glad I had the chance to try this. I thought everything in the sandwich paired pretty well together. I think the vegan chicken sub was seitan, or at least tasted similar to that, but was covered very well in the sauce! I'll definitely be back to try the other vegetarian sandwiches they offer. ”
“ Best sandwich ever. Looks like any other convenience store, only you can get the world's best sandwich there. All their options are packed with ingredients that make each sandwich soo tasty and unique. Ordering at the counter is super easy, but you can also order ahead. Will absolutely be my new go to sandwich. Can't wait to try them alllll ”
“ Crazy good savory sandwich right before we head to Oracle Park to watch a Giants game. Fast friendly service. You order your sandwiches in the deli section of this nice little market. Friendly ambiance. ”
“ Can't believe I haven't written a review for this place! Classic SF spot before going to Dolores Park for a picnic. The wait was only 15 minutes today which is shocking for a Saturday in the summertime. I highly recommend calling in advance and picking them up. The ambiance is nothing crazy but there are plenty of nonalcoholic and alcoholic drinks to pick up as well as snacks. Today we got Judah and Valencia sandwiches on Dutch crunch (warm). Both were fantastic. Highly recommend! I'll keep coming back :) ”
“ Great deli for picking up quality sandwiches and convenient store items on the go. My partner and I shared Buster Posey #28 Sandwich and their pastrami is good! The sandwich is wrapped and cut in two, so it's easy to share. They have a very extensive sandwich menu, so I can't wait to return and try out their other sandwiches. (You can also customize your own using their sheets at the counter). Service was friendly, and it can take a bit of time to wait if it's a popular time and other customers are coming in at the same time. But it looks like you can call ahead for your order to pick up. They have a great selection of items for their shop, from over the counter medicines, bottled beverages, chips, snacks, and so much more. The shop is an easy walk to Dolores so it'll be easy to have a picnic there with your items. ”
“ Deli near Dolores Park. Lots of options: got some local creations. BBNG - bang bang miner gang, Dolores, 19th, etc Able to call in and place your order. ”
“ Great standard place for a sandwich. I think they have weird hours sometimes so always check for that. I swear I tried to get a sandwich once at like 3 or 4pm and they said they stopped serving even tho their hours are posted otherwise. Service can take some time just because it's a popular spot and they have a lot of orders, it's worth the wait tho. I think the longest I waited was like 15 mins. You can also order online. I usually order a Diamond Heights and take off the BBQ sauce. They have the order slips near the register and then you mark what you want on your sandwich and pay out. They have a large menu so there's something for everyone. ”
